Main Duties of the
Department
The Department of Science and Innovation is one of the
main structures of the Institute and carries out its main duties in the
following areas: management, control and coordination of scientific, research
and innovation activities of departments, training of scientific and
pedagogical personnel, organization of the educational process in Master’s and
Doctoral (PhD) by majors, organization and holding scientific conferences and
seminars, competitions and Olympiads, etc.
The Department carries out its activities according to
the legislation of the Republic of Tajikistan, resolution of the Government of
the Republic of Tajikistan, orders and instructions of the Ministry of
Education and Science of the Republic of Tajikistan, sector regulations, the
Institute's Charter, orders of the Institute's Director, directives of the
Deputy Director for Science, Innovation and International Relations, as well as
other regulatory legal acts in the field of education and science. The
department reports directly to the Deputy Director for Science, Innovation and
International Relations.

The Chief Specialist of the Science and Innovation
department is responsible for regulating the department's document flow,
monitoring and preparing documents for doctoral students (PhD) in the
specialty, master's students, preparing letters and recommendations, carrying
out the instructions of the deputy director for Science, Innovation and
International Relations, as well as the head of the department.
Specialist in the Scientific Publications Department
of the Science and Innovation Division – Mirzokhojaeva Mizhgonakhon Valijonovna
The specialist of the scientific publications department is responsible for
publishing scientific articles, preparing conference materials, technical
processing of articles in the scientific and technical journal "Vestnik
Gosudarstvennogo technicheskogo universiteta Tajikistana imeni akademika
M.S,Osimi ", regulating the department's document flow, preparing letters,
carrying out the instructions of the Deputy Director for Science, Innovation
and International Relations, and the Head of Department.
Additional Information
The Department of Science and Innovation focuses its activities
on realizing the orders of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Emomali
Rahmon, state strategies and programmers, and the Strategic Development Plan of
the institute, and strives to accomplish the following tasks:
- conducting
research work in areas related to the implementation of the country's strategic
development goals and priority areas of science, technology and engineering
development, including the digitalisation of national economic sectors and the
transition to a “green economy”;
- expanding scientific cooperation with industrial enterprises and
introducing the results of scientific research into production;
- increasing in the number of scientific articles in
international journals and improvement of the institute's position in
international rankings;
- increasing in the number of talented students participating in national and
international competitions and Olympiads;
- increasing the number of high qualified
scientific pedagogical personnel among talented youth and etc.
