From the history of the department/center
In accordance with the Decree of the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan №. 58 dated February 12, 2010, on the basis of the merger of the Khujand branch of the Tajik Technical University and the branch of the Tajik Technological University, the Polytechnic Institute of the Tajik Technical University named after Academician M.S.Osimi was founded in the city of Khujand. From this point of view, the center began its activities as an international relations department, in 2012 as an international relations department, in 2014 as an International Relations Department, and in 2024 as an International Center and Project Management.
Main activities of the center
The purpose of the international center and project management is to organize, coordinate and develop international cooperation of the institute with foreign higher educational institutions, educational organizations in the field of educational, scientific and social activities. The purpose of the department is to carry out the international activities of the institute and strengthen its reputation in the international community.
Main activities of center:
- carries out long-term planning of international activities, develops plans and agreements on cooperation with institutes and universities, foreign organizations;
- documentary control of foreign students at all levels of education;
- search for partners among foreign educational institutions and international organizations;
- acceptance and preliminary processing of applications and grants;
- organization of planning and control of the implementation of projects and grants by faculties, departments and other parts of the institute;
organize the reception of representatives and delegations of foreign universities in accordance with current regulations and instructions, conduct correspondence with potential and existing foreign partners, ensure the signing of protocols and agreements on international cooperation.
