From the History of the Department:
The Department of Upbringing and Affair with Youth of the Institute has been operating since the establishment of the institute on the basis of the merger of the Khujand Branch of the Technological University of Tajikistan and the Branch of the Technical University of Tajikistan named after academician M. Osimi in the city of Khujand. From 2010 to 2019, the Department of Upbringing operated in the structure of the institute, and since 2019, this direction has been named the Department of Upbringing and Affair with Youth.
From 2010 to 2015, Temurov Safat Habibuloevich was in charge of the Upbringing Department, and since September 2015, Temurova Muharram Qurbanovna has been working as the head of the Upbringing Department of the Institute.
The main activity of the department:
The Department of Upbringing and Affair with Youth is a structural part of the Institute, and its main task is planning, organizing and monitoring the process of upbringing.
The Department of Upbringing and Affair with Youth, as a coordinating body, oversees the activities of all substructures related to the student’s and youth’s upbringing at the Institute and reports to the Deputy Director for Upbringing and the Director of the Institute.

Carries out activities on such issues of student education as increasing the sense of patriotism and love for the homeland, political and legal upbringing, protection from various dangers of globalization, strengthening and developing spiritual and moral values, striving for creativity and creation, awakening a sense of national pride, love for cultural values.

Coordinating the activities of the department of upbringing and work with youth with other structures of the institute; working with normative legal acts related to upbringing.
Specialist of the department - Qutbiddini Davlatmand
Attracting students to the club of art lovers and, in this context, holding cultural events of the institute at a high level.
Secretary-clerk - Boboev Mukhsin Davronbegovich
Promotion of documentation, storage of documents according to the register and timely preparation of reports.
Additional Information
The activities of the Department of Education and Work with Youth are carried out in cooperation with such organizations of the Institute as the Institute Youth Union; the Council of Women and Girls; the Council of Veterans; Tutors’ Council; and the Student Committee of Trade Unions.
The upbringing activity of the Institute is carried out mainly in connection with the directorate of faculties, curators of academic groups and public organizations, and along with the inclusion of students in education, the comprehensive training of future specialists is in the center of attention of the board and the Department of Upbringing and Affair with Youth.
