From the
history of the department
The
Department of State Language and Social Science has been operating since 2010.
The head of the department of state language and social science in 2010 was
Ph.D. Temirova Khairiniso Islamovna. Number of teachers: the department has 16
teachers, including 6 candidates of science - Temirova Khairiniso, Rakhmanov
Zafar, Razikov Bazarbai, Babaeva Tayiba, Izatullaev Raftar, Gazieva Mutabar; 6
senior teachers - Nazirova Munavvar, Khojaeva Nodira, Sharapov R., Khasanov
Abdurakhman, Umarov Anvar, Rakhmatova Muattar; 3 assistants – Temirkhuzhaev A.,
Fayzieva Sh.
Achievements:
At the Republican Olympiad among students in history and the Tajik language,
they were awarded 3rd place.
Since
August 2016, the department has been functioning as the department of general
education disciplines of the Faculty of Construction and Transport. The head of
the department was Candidate of Philological Sciences Z. A. Rakhmanov.
The department teaches Tajik language, Russian
language, English language, mathematics, physics, computer science, chemistry,
physical education and social studies.

the department operates as the Department of State Language and Social Science.
Main
activities of the department
The
Department of State Language and Social Science has been operating since
February 2018, location of the department: Khujand, Ismail Samani Avenue, 226,
Faculty of Construction and Transport.
The staff
of the department in 2018 consisted of 14 people: 5 candidates of science, 6
senior teachers, 2 assistants, 1 secretary-employee.
The head of
the department of state language and social science from 2018 to 2020 was
candidate of philological sciences Babaeva T.R.
From 2020
to 2021, the head of the department of state language and social science was
candidate of philosophical science
s D. R.
Juraeva.
From 2021
to 2024, the head of the department of state language and social science is
candidate of philological sciences Rakhmatova Muattara Mukimovna.
Composition
of the department: 1 Doctor of Science, 4 Candidates of Science, 7 senior
teachers, 1 secretary-employee.
In the
2022-2023 academic year, classes in 25 main subjects were organized at the
department of state language and social science at the undergraduate level.
At the
master's level, classes were held in 2 subjects (pedagogy and psychology of
higher educational institutions, philosophy and methodology of science), and at
the doctoral level - on teaching methods in higher education, history and
philosophy.
In 2022, 5
people passed the master's level with good and excellent grades in specialty
1-080101-Professional education (in areas).
In 2023, 9
people graduated from the master’s level in specialty 1-080101-Professional
education (in areas).
In order to
prepare students to carry out scientific work and form on this basis
spirituality and a sense of patriotism, reverence for cultural achievements,
and promotion of higher national and humanitarian ideas among young people, the
department has eight permanent departmental circles, headed by teachers of the
department.
Every year
the department organizes several scientific and practical conferences, literary
circles, round tables and competitions according to the plan approved by the
department.
Also, the
Republican competition “Furugi subҳi donoi kitoba ast”, the Republican
competition “Tajiks are a mirror of the history of the nation”, Day of the
state language, Day of unity, Novruz, Scientific and literary conference
“Mission of language and national identity”, XVI session of the Supreme Council
of the Republic of Tajikistan, Day of Mavlono Jaloliddin Balkhi, for the
implementation of the International Decade of Action “On Baroi Rushdi Ustuvor,
Solgoi 2018-2028”, etc.
In the 2022
- 2023 academic year, 2nd year student of specialty 27.0101ta Rasulzade Sh.
took a prize at the VMIZhT Olympiad in state language and social studies.

Main
directions of scientific research
The
Department of State Language and Social Science studies a general topic related
to linguistic, historical, cultural and philosophical issues, entitled “Current
philological and social issues of the Tajik language at the present stage.”
Social
Sciences and Humanities:
Studying
modern literature in order to solve current philological and social issues of
the Tajik language;
Study of
the historical background of the Tajik language and literature in modern times.
International
